Dale Carl Lehfeldt, 84 of Mexia, passed away on January 11, 2020 at Providence Medical Center Waco. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 1100 East Commerce Street, Fairfield, TX with Pastor Jeff Salomon officiating.

Dale was born February 24, 1935 in Valley City, North Dakota to Carl & Lillian Barz Lehfeldt. He was a school teacher for a couple of years before signing up and joining the United States Army. After serving in the Army he became a pastor. He was a pastor emartus in Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. He had a heart for sharing Jesus with everyone he met.
Dale was preceded in death by his parents, Carl & Lillian Barz Lehfeldt; brothers, Edwin Lehfeldt and Arthur Lehfeldt and grandson, William Brockmueller. He is survived by his wife, Olive Lehfeldt of Mexia; daughters, Laura Deardoff & husband Bill of Nebraska, Deb Johnson & husband Lewis of Oklahoma, Betty Brockmueller & husband Joe of South Dakota, Nancy Lehfeldt of Wisconsin and Rachael Carder & husband Mitch of Mexia; numerous grandchildren; 5 sisters, 1 brother and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends.
